During a soundcheck for the Walk Now for Autism Speaks event at Soldier Field in Chicago, Green Thirteen got the chance to meet Grammy Award winning songwriter Jim Peterik who not only wrote & performed in the Ides of March and Survivor but also wrote songs for numerous well known artists including .38 Special, Sammy Hagar, the Doobie Brothers, Cheap Trick, Lynyrd Skynyrd & REO Speedwagon. He is perhaps best known for writing and singing the Ides of March hit "Vehicle" which hit #1 on the charts in 1970 & co-writing Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" for the film Rocky III. This video shows Green Thirteen backing up Jim Peterik on his biggest hit "Eye of the Tiger" at Soldier Field.
